Our channel is about everyday living and I have included some terrific sermons from our preacher.
What Happened to My Husband Part 12
This is a continuation of what has happened to my husband after two brain surgeries close together. That wonderful man that towed the truck a great distance was so kind and drove the truck into our driveway across the street and took much time with me in my time of complete despair. I do not have answers yet and may never get all the answers but I will share with you important info later about what you need to know before you let an elderly person travel alone.

I bought a house in 2002 that came with an older washer (my mother had the same one back in 1982) and just last year, it had to be replaced because they no longer had parts to replace on it!! That machine was at least 40 yrs old...a Maytag! I ended up buying a GE top load like the one in the video and boy do I hate it!!! I think next time I will get a Speed Queen (my plumber recommended that to me). It's the closest thing to a good "old-fashioned" functional washer!!! Thanks for your video!!! Your instructions worked for me!! I guess this is the new "green" washer design. It doesn't even rinse all that well, either. Pure garbage. Speed Queens aren't cheap but at least it will save on not only frustration but also repair bills! Thanks again for your video!!😊

Isnt it good enough alone to use the zote? I grate a pink bar of zote and use that alone some times and it washs fine.
Could I ask you what type of a grater that you use. I would like to get a good grater for grating zote soap and yes you can use just zote soap. Using Borax is supposed to boost the cleaning power.
@@bevyh1 i have a flimsy cheese grater. But then i take an extra step and crush it all up with my hands. While wearing gloves.

These hornworms are different from the ones at the garden, do not feed the ones on your tomatoes to ur reptiles
I have heard that but I don't understand why as I suspect if a turtle saw a hornworm on a tomato plant I suspect they would eat it since it looks the same as the ones you buy.
@bevyh1 the ones in your garden can eat anything and some probably wouldn't be good for your reptiles, pretty much, I had some in my garden and none of my reptiles would eat it.. except my pacman frogs
@@ballistic350 that is very interesting. In some ways I think turtles are smarter than people. I don’t understand why Soarky don’t like our garden berries, though. Perhaps it’s because the soil is not rich enough like it would be in nature.
I was tryna cut some apples for me and I wasn’t careful so I split my thumb open I used 2 WHOLE napkins full of blood
I have been praying more so I won't keep getting injured as I seem to be accident prone. I am very thankful that I have not had a cut lately as I need my hands so much as there is consent work to do.

Just be careful with the glass
I HATE this washer! So, if you leave the lid up and start it while loading your clothes when the water stops running it will drain out all of the water and detergent instead of washing. Also, when I first start the machine I have to turn the knob and then turn in back to normal wash before it will start! I got the washer and dryer combo in 2021 and the dryer has already had to be repaired because of the door. Don't buy this product
Yes it is a gem. I real agitator. If you want more water you have to add it manually. It is still running though and dancing.

If I’m correct the deep rinse means that you will get a larger amount of water in the tub for your rinse
If that is true that takes the cake!!! So we humans don't need as much water to wash our dirty clothes but we at least have enough water to rinse our dirty clothes.

I have heard of it. I forgot what it is. Have you made pure coconut soap with lye and coconut oil? How is Sparky and Lp? Pure coconut soap is very drying.
Never tried any other homemade soap. Sparky is the same picky eater as always. He has been eating grubs when we can find them and to my amazement yesterday in his outside pen he ate 3 night crawlers. He must have been very hungry to do that as a lot of times he will refuse them. He has been refusing superworms and wax worms too but Sparky usually doesn't refuse fresh cooked organic yams.. Lp still has issues after brain surgery.

I cleaned mine, now the glass won’t go back in. Tried to turn the opposite side still not going into the slot correctly.
As you slide the glass back into the corners do not raise up the glass very much. Keep the glass very low so it will completely seat properly into the corners.

I am confident that you did nothing wrong. I think the part that broke was defective. I have juiced melon rinds, carrots, beets, ... in my Green Star Elite juicer for years now and have not had anything break.
What is difference in these two model numbers: Compare GTW460ASJWW GTW460ASJ5WW
One may have a soak cycle and the other one doesn't. That is a guess.
i'm 36 i agree also, the world is just backwards nowadays. Combine that with a nice washing outside on the concrete floor. They pay 2grand for a vacuum that does almost the same thing but worse, nothing can replace this. Granted you have to have a yard, an area where neighbors don't mind , cause nowadays stupidity is everywhere people have lost common sense. In Hungary we used to have metal posts setup in the back of the flats so everyone could do it free. But now it's gone, ofc they cut it down, cause it has fallen out of fashion for 20 years now, too bad it did. Now it's a huge parking lot.
Why do they do that
I believe it is a necessary part of cleaning body parts and the raising up of back legs I believe it is a way of keeping the extremities strong. Sadly some turtles have weak legs from being in captivity. Sparky gets exercise because of getting out of his terrarium when he wants out and he also goes outside when weather permits.

I have a stopper that looks similar. I used a metric 20mm ID O-ring that was 3mm thick, so 26mm OD. Would have been better if it were thicker, but that's all the hardware store had. Big 60 cents. It worked. I screwed the stopper in tight, filled it with water part-way and squeezed the bottle upside down. No leaks.
These machines suck. both the pause and lid locked are flashing and I can't get the lid up.
It could be the inventor of the lid lock had a child that got a ladder and hopped into the washer in the spin cycle. Hope you got it working

Love this, pillows are too expensive to throw away. I'm spring cleaning so this is just what I needed. Im also gonna buy some pillow filling to fill out any that might not fluff, cause the zipper is so small, I don't think it was meant to pull off, but I can refluff.

Why do you think trees are dying? We got big evergreens in NY dying. I thought it was wet roots due to rising water level, but it was happening higher up elevations from wet land. ???
The powers that be wants we the people to have one narrative and if it does not agree with them it is considered misinformation so I am limited to what I can say. Hopefully, I can say that pine trees have shallow root systems and are more vulnerable to air quality, industrial spraying and toxic chemicals. Now that is what I am talking about. You have a line in your backyard for drying clothes. I haven't seen this since I was a little girl in the early 70's when my family lived in the projects. LOL. Wow, my Granny used to say that was the way to go and I remember being outside with her and my aunt's while hanging clothes on the line (neighbors as well while they help one another especially folding sheets). Your laundry would be the best smelling laundry ever from hanging them out to dry instead of drying then in the dryer. WOW!!!! You took me waaaay back and I came here for something else and damn near forgot. LOL Just wanted to know how I could wash my bed throw pillows in the washing machine without ruining them. MUCH LOVE TO YOU ♥
I also have clothes lines in the basement. I can't imagine life without my clothes lines.
My wife bought this junk without consulting me first and was constantly asking me to fix it. I finally got rid of it and her.... best decision I've made in awhile. Went to local used appliance guy and traded straight up for old style GE Deep fill I traded him was 15 months old. Another good decision. FYI: newer models like the one i had don't come with an agitator.
So far this machine has not broken down yet. I am always grateful every time it completes a cycle.

@@DanDan-xj8ox I did three loads of clothes today and it is still rocking and rolling, literally. I'm grateful it made it through another day. I think the lack of enough water causes much more wear and tear on the clothes when they can't flow as freely as they can with a full tub of water. The powers that be decides for us, as to what is best for us.

Very clear explanation. My RUclips channel after the last update the Library icon has disappeared so I did everything you’ve said and it was back, unfortunately 24 hrs later it’s gone again! How do I delete the last update on an iPad?
I deleted the RUclips App and used a search engine to get access to my library and it’s now back but ideally I want the App and delete the last update.
Wish I had the answers in the comment section on this video. Our son did the video and all these questions on this video would be an easy problem to fix for him. I've tried to talk him into having a channel to help people but he is working long hours and has to deal with computers. He has tried to help me but I'm so slow to understand so he does many repeats.

Yes if I use Google to go on RUclips rather than the RUclips App I can access my library but unfortunately my saved vides are not in alphabetical order which makes it difficult searching for a particular genre as I have hundreds of saved videos. I just wish they’d stop installing updates that makes life more difficult
